Gardens are growing!

In South Africa, winter is over and spring has arrived! The students and volunteers at the Lehlononolo and John Pama Primary schools — located in the townships just outside of Cape Town — are gearing up to harvest their winter yields and get ready to plant the spring crops.

We are glad to support projects like this, which are not only feeding students but also teaching them how food is grown.
